I had a fancy dress party last weekend and I had no idea what to go as.
"Go as Sandy!" one friend suggested. "But I don't have a Danny" I whined. Apparently that didn't matter but to any Grease fan out there (me) It matters.. oh it so matters.
The inspiration hit me whilst watching The Walking Dead.
I remember being a skull for Halloween last year, however for a fancy dress party, looking like you've been underground for the past decade is slightly dark.
So I went with a toned down Skull make up. With glitter eyes and a slight black liner, this was a look that didn't send anyone running.

Flying High
Now I don’t
know about you, but whenever I’m flying I have to ensure I look semi-decent, because I mean, who knows who you're going to bump into on a flight!
So a few weeks ago I went on a trip that involved a long-haul flight. Wanting to look good on a long
flight is not so easy compared to a short one. The factors I had to consider
were comfort and warmth. Did I mention I tend to live in jeans as well? And jeans
are very well known for being not so comfortable.
Well to all
you jean lovers out there, here I am to change your life. That’s right because
jeans are exactly what I wore for this bum-numbing journey.
Made from
super stretchy material, I could bend my knees, do the splits, legs overhead,
you name it, I did it. Definitely a favourite pair by far.
Below is
the completed outfit featuring an Ivy Park Sweater and my favourite trainers EVER – Nike Air Max
Thea’s.
With this
outfit combo, I matched the casual look with comfort and felt great.

Statement Culottes
One
particular item of clothing I am L O V I N G at the moment are culottes.
They are
absolutely perfect for any occasion, be it for the office, for casual, paired
with trainers or, for me, a night out.
They
recently saved me from wardrobe distress prior to a night out last weekend – it was a last minute
decision on heading out for a friend’s birthday. Normally I would need at least
one week to get an outfit together,
however I had brought a pair of burgundy culottes from Forever 21 and so upon
hearing of this surprise trip to the city, lest did I panic, in fact I was
thrilled I finally had an opportunity to wear them!
I went for
a minimal look as the colour is fairly overpowering and so a simple black
bodysuit and lace up block heels went perfectly.
